I first approached Jenny after being advised to take up Pilates after a lower back injury as I had to develop my core strength and work on posture.
Being a complete novice I felt that a one on one approach would be more beneficial and less intimidating than a group or class, so Jenny's one to one class was ideal.

I never believed that 'doing so little' could 'do so much' and make you feel like you had a huge workout the next day!

I recently finished a course of eight lessons with Jenny and wanted to say that I have found myself bringing the ideas and techniques I learnt during the lessons into my daily life. As a tall guy I tend to stoop a good deal. More than anything I have found myself controlling my core and using this to align my back, hips and head - in other words, Jenny and Pilates has taught me to stand up straight, and correctly!
Jenny is calm and patient and gives clear instructions with demonstrations where necessary. The lessons gradually get more difficult as I am improving and are keeping me on my toes.

I have been practising Pilates under Jenny's guidance for the last year or so, and in that time I have managed to significantly reduce pain in my lower back. My flexibility has also increased and I am feeling much more confident about my posture which always tended to be a bit rounded. Over the last few months I have also been working on a programme of Pregnancy Pilates which again has helped with various aches and pains and has kept me moving.
